Meet McKayla
McKayla was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri. As a child, she was very curious, spending hours exploring in the woods behind her house. She was always bringing home animals who needed help, saying they needed a safe home to stay. Although that sense of adventure was always ringing in her ear, her absolute favorite thing was coming home at the end of the day. She would snuggle up with her family, read bedtime stories of daring heroines, and feel safe in the warmth of their family home. As an adult, McKayla turned that caring demeanor and sense of adventure into a passion for humanitarian work and traveling. She even lived abroad for a year, volunteering to help the homeless, before meeting her husband, becoming a bonus mom, foster parent, and having a child of her own. She was so excited to have her own little team of explorers to travel and create new stories with, but there was still just one piece missing. McKayla and her husband closed on their first house, shortly after having their baby, and every day, she takes comfort in the fact that she has her cozy home to return to each night - a home filled with love, laughter, and bedtime stories. Now, McKayla wants to be a part of your story! She knows that buying a home is exciting, stressful, and a little scary - Especially for first time homebuyers who are stepping into uncharted territory.
