Outside of the office, Zack enjoys spending time with family and friends. His hobbies include any activities outdoors, riding motorcycles, golfing, and traveling. He was attentive, responsive & sensitive to my anxiety as a first time home buyer. He worked really well with my realtor & was very helpful throughout the entire process. Overall, he did a great job on keeping me in the loop and being there to answer my many questions. I give him a 7 because we bought the house from my in-laws, so the first time we spoke over the phone, he mentioned the gift of equity possibility. I inquired more about it, then due to a lack of knowledge (totally understandable as it is an unusual situation), told me to stick to our original plan of taking care of closing costs and the down payment ourselves. After doing my own research and finally watching a YouTube video, I was able to understand it fully and what needed to be done so the sellers do not suffer more and so we would keep almost all of the money we had saved in our pockets. I was disappointed that he brought up the idea initially then let such an awesome thing go by the wayside rather than doing the research like I did to figure it out for the betterment of the client. If I wouldn’t have been persistent to figure this out, we would’ve paid MUCH more than necessary. However, he and our LC made the changes to the paperwork very quickly after the change was made late in the process, which I do appreciate. I can understand not knowing everything, but do not bring up an idea and table it because you do not fully understand it. Do the work to understand or don’t bring it up.
